Q: How does the PTA communicate with families?
1) PTA Meetings – Five meetings are held throughout the school year. Typically, September, November, February, April and May (year end volunteer luncheon).
2) PTA Mailchimp Emails – Weekly emails with brief news and reminders of upcoming events are sent to members of the PTA.
3) PTA Facebook Group – There is now a closed Facebook Group that is available to PD Families. Please visit PD PTA Facebook to join today!
Q: What is Givebacks (formerly MemberHub)?
A: Givebacks is a secure online PTA management tool. By registering, you have access to: the School Store (this is where you’ll need to go to purchase a PTA membership, Fundraising Items, Kickball/Sweetheart Dance tickets, etc.).
Q: What is Fun Lunch?
A: On Fun Lunch days, should you purchase a lunch via Boonli you do not need to send a lunch for your child. You will still need to send a morning snack. Notification of these options are sent home via the weekly Mailchimp email. Late orders and/or written submissions are not accepted.
Q: Where can I get a list of email address for the parents in my child’s class?
A: If you are a PAID member of the PTA you will have access to the Online School Directory. The directory can be accessed from the internet or your mobile devices via the DirectorySpot app. Access to the Online School Directory is only available to paid members of the PTA. Q: Where can I get reimbursed for expenses relating to a PTA event I chaired or was on the committee?
A: You can find our Check Request Form HERE, which needs to be filled out and signed by a PTA Board member for reimbursement.
