-Auditions @ PD – Wednesday, 2/11 – 3-5:00PM
-Practice @ PD – Tuesday, 2/24 – 3-5:00PM
-Dress Rehearsal @ Tivoli – Tuesday, 3/10 – 4-5:30PM
-Variety Show @ Tivoli – Saturday, 3/14 – 10AM
Please note any accompanying music (mp3 or Spotify link) is due to Beth Riley at eapolito@gmail.com by February 6th.
Act Information:
You are free to plan a solo act or organize a group act. To help with your ideas, acts in the past have consisted of:
*Groups of girls and/or boys in the grade performing a dance
*Student(s) playing an instrument
*Student(s) singing a song or performing a monologue
*Group basketball dribbling performance or gymnastics stunts
Guidelines and Additional Info:
-Acts should be approximately 90 seconds or less
-Each group and/or solo act is organized by a parent volunteer who will serve as the point of contact, coordinate the idea, attire, practice dates (when/where), chaperone students during auditions & rehearsals, etc.
-Everyone who wants to perform will be a part of the show. The “audition” is so that the committee can sign-off on the length and screen the acts for anything inappropriate.
