Field Day Volunteer Signup – Field Day is quickly approaching, and we are in need of some volunteers to help facilitate the activity stations. If you can’t attend Field Day but would still like to contribute, we are also looking for popsicle donations for each session. Sign up to volunteer or donate popsicles here. The PTA asks that you sign up for Field Day as soon as possible!
Volunteer Signup – The PTA is beginning to plan our volunteer opportunities for the 2021-22 school year and will be using Sign Up to help us organize our volunteer efforts. This information helps us form committees, especially those that need to be up & running in August (i.e.: New Family Welcome, Room Reps, Copy Helpers and Welcome Back Party). Please sign up for what interests you and also keep in mind that while we are hopeful that all of these events can take place during the next school year, we will be following all District 58 guidelines:

REMINDERS
School Kit Orders – Our school supply ordering site for next year is officially LIVE! The flyer for 2021-22 is attached here. To order your school kits, please go online to www.carlsonschoolkits.com, click on Downers Grove, and select Pierce Downer. Remember to order for your children’s NEXT year grade! Please also note that there are some optional items for purchase such as white t-shirts (adult Medium) for Art, and headphones, should you want them. Kits will be at school in your children’s classrooms for the first day of school in the fall. Our sale closes June 20, 2021. Skuddklebutts Dine-Out – Please join us for our last dine-out of the year on Wednesday, May 26th, from 10a-8p, at Skuddlebutts. Simply mention Pierce Downer fundraiser when ordering and 20% of your check will go back to PD! Also, don’t forget to save your receipt and enter it in your KOHA app!
