All School Assembly – This Thursday, March 7th, Culture Shock will visit Pierce Downer for a student assembly. Culture Shock’s performances allow them to share their art form through dance and music-exposing audience members to the rich history of hip hop and its many cultural influences. Culture Shock Chicago creates and produces innovative pieces from a street point of view, taking inspiration and snapshots from our great city and reflecting that back as works of art that personify humanity and urban diversity. Culture Shock challenges the unfamiliar, breaks down attitudes and views on life and culture and finds direction in the midst of social chaos. Culture Shock ® Chicago continues to strive for excellence through community outreach programming and by raising the bar for hip hop dance performance in Chicago and beyond.
