Art Awareness – Although this year has been quite different, we would like to allow students to participate in Art Awareness, which is an amazing monthly art program that typically takes place in school from HOME! We have a fun Art Awareness Opportunity for you to try. Even though there is a lot less snow now, please take a look at this art awareness lesson, and consider creating your own artist inspired snowman. Enjoy!
REMINDERS
PD Scholarships – PD PTA is happy to be able to offer two $1000 scholarships to former Pierce Downer students in good standing who are currently seniors at Downers Grove North High School. Applications are due no later than Friday March 5th, 2021 and should have already been sent to those seniors that are eligible. The applications and eligibility requirements can be found by emailing Jennie Amidei at jenamidei@gmail.com. All applicants will be notified of his/her result. The two recipients of the Pierce Downer Community Scholarships will be announced at the Virtual DGN Awards Night in May 2021. Good Luck!
