Annual Giving Campaign and PTA Membership – Your Pierce Downer PTA has been hard at work! What we worry about the most at this time is “are we going to raise enough money to support all of our PTA sponsored programs this year?” We sure hope so! That’s why we are again launching our Annual Giving Campaign! This year it will cost the PTA $75/per student to fund all of our current programs, which is a decrease/per student in what we have been requesting from families in years past. We are thrilled to be having social fundraisers this year for our students and their families to enjoy, including the Welcome Back Party and the upcoming Fall Fest! There are also MANY programs that need to be funded by the PTA (e.g., high tech/high touch, staff supplies, Senior Scholarships, accelerated reader, to name a few). We are asking parents to please donate what suits your family. We hope to have 100% participation this year.
We also encourage everyone to become an active member of our PTA! By joining, you’ll have voting rights on decisions that affect our school.
- A Single PTA Membership costs $15 and gives you one login for our Directory Spot App.
- A Family Membership costs $20 and gives you access to the Directory Spot App for the entire family.
- Directory Spot provides easy access on the go for phone numbers and emails for other Pierce Downer families.

Please pay for your PTA Membership no later than October 1st, as your previous DirectorySpot app access will expire and the 2021-22 DirectorySpot will be updated by mid October. The Pierce Downer PTA is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization. Your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
PTA Fall Fest – Round up your family and join us Friday, October 1st from 5:30-8:30pm at Downers Grove Swim and Racquet Club on the lawn for a FALL FEST FUNDRAISER!! Family admission is $30 and includes Tivoli popcorn, a movie on the big screen, pumpkin craft, glow sticks, fall games and live music! Zazzo’s pizza ($4 a slice), drinks ($1) and caramel apples ($2) will be for sale! To purchase admission, please scan the QR code found on the flyer or go to https://piercedowner.
