Coffee Talk Zoom with Mr. Wagner – This week PD has begun NWEA MAP testing. Mr. Wagner will be hosting a “Coffee Talk” session this Friday, January 22nd at 9am to discuss what MAP testing is and how to read a growth report. Please use this FORM if you are interested in joining the zoom session.
REMINDERS
PTA Nominating Committee – The PTA is looking for volunteers interested in serving on the nominating committee for next year’s board elections. We need to elect two general PTA members to this committee (including two alternates), in addition to one current board member. Individuals on the nominating committee are responsible for reviewing the applications of individuals interested in serving on next year’s PTA Board in the event that we have more than one individual interested in a particular position. After reviewing the applications, the committee will make a recommendation to the current board with regards to which candidate they feel is the most qualified. Anyone interested in serving on this committee should submit their names to Nicki Blattner at pdptapresident@gmail.com before Friday, January 29th. From those interested, we will elect two members to serve on the committee (and alternates) at a general PTA meeting scheduled for Wednesday, February 17th at 7pm. All current PTA members are welcome to attend this meeting via Zoom (more details to follow) and vote on the members of the nominating committee.
