Annual Giving Campaign/PTA Membership – Although this new school year has been VERY different from years past, your PD PTA has been hard at work! What we worry about the most at this time is “are we going to raise enough money to support all of our PTA sponsored programs this year?” We sure hope so! That’s why we are again launching our Annual Giving Campaign! This year it will cost the PTA $55/per student to fund all of our current programs, which is a substantial $30 decrease/per student in what we have been requesting from families in years past. There are MANY programs that still need to be funded by the PTA, even without our students physically in school (as of yet) and typical social events happening (e.g., high tech/high touch, staff supplies, classroom subscriptions, Senior Scholarships, accelerated reader, teacher appreciation, to name a few). We are asking parents to please donate what suits your family. We hope to have 100% participation this year.
We also encourage everyone to become an active member of our PTA! By joining, you’ll have voting rights on decisions that affect our school.
- A Single PTA Membership costs $15 and gives you one login for our Directory Spot App.
- A Family Membership costs $20 and gives you access to the Directory Spot App for the entire family.
- Directory Spot provides easy access on the go for phone numbers and emails for other Pierce Downer families.

Please pay for your PTA Membership no later than October 9th, as your previous DirectorySpot app access will expire and the 2020-21 DirectorySpot will be updated by October 12th. The Pierce Downer PTA is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization. Your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

PD PTA thanks you all for your support during our annual Charleston Wrap fundraising sale. We have decided to extend the sale thru October 6th. This year’s sale will be completely virtual and all of the products you order will be delivered directly to your home before the thanksgiving break. Charleston Wrap has over 2500 beautiful gifts and wrapping paper, all available at reasonable prices. Please support our school by making a purchase and telling all of your friends and family! Downtown DG Girls Day Out – Thank you to all who participated in this fun day/night out last week! We do not have any information on sales totals yet, but once we do, we will share them. In addition, we are only $170 away from earning a $500 bonus for our PTA from KOHA, so please send in those receipts (especially from Girls Day out)!!
