PTA Volunteer Luncheon –  Last Chance to join us at RBK on June 1st at 12:30pm for the PTA Luncheon to thank you for your hard work throughout the year!  If you have not RSVP’d via the evite but you are planning on going, please do so today.  Today is the last day to sign up!
 
School Supply Kits – DEADLINE EXTENDED – Place your student’s school supply kit order now for the 2017/2018 school year.  Order & pay ONLINE ONLY via www.carlsonschoolkits.com.  For complete ordering information click on ​ 2017 Supply Kit Flyer. Orders will be accepted through Thursday, June 1st.
 
2017-2018 PD PTA Volunteer Opportunities – The Pierce Downer PTA is beginning to plan our volunteer opportunities for the 2017-18 school year and will again be using Sign Up to help us organize our volunteer efforts.   This information helps us form committees, especially those that need to be up & running in August (i.e.: New Family Welcome, Room Reps, Copy & LRC Helpers, Welcome Back Party).  Please sign up for what interests you.

  • Enter your email address: (You will NOT need to register an account on Sign Up) 
  • Choose your spots – Sign Up will send you an automated confirmation and reminders. Easy! 
  • Your name/email address will be shared with the committee chair, who will then contact you before the event/task to discuss details. 
  • We will also have sign ups available at the volunteer luncheon at RBK June 1st.

Crossing Guard Collection – We are collecting money for the crossing guard end of the year gift. As you know, they all do a lot for everyone, and keep our kids safe daily. If you would like to give towards their gift, please drop off your donation to Mrs. Jerves in the front office at school. If you would like your name listed on their cards please make sure to add your name/or last name on your envelope. Please no checks, as the money is going directly to the crossing guards. Please drop off your contribution by the end of school on Tuesday, June 6th so that we have time to give them their gifts.

 
Summer Math Club – Volunteer a couple of hours in the morning or evening over the summer to facilitate math packet pick-up and drop-off at the library and hand out prizes for completed math sheets. There will be 3 days to choose from:
  • June 19th and 20th
  • July 10th and 11th
  • July 31st, August 1st and 14th
Sign up at http://signup.com/go/JFslUds  or contact Lisa Ordway directly at lisaordway1@gmail.com. You will be contacted once the shifts are assigned.

Images can be downloaded – right click on an image, or use the “select photos” tab in the upper right hand corner to be able to download.  If viewing on a mobile device, switch to desktop mode (bottom of the screen) to be able to download on your mobile device.     • Cookie Baking for Patients & Tour – June 13, 2017 from 1pm-3pm. Click here to sign up.
    • Augie’s Drive for Supplies – June 17 from 9am-2pm. For details about the event, click here. Please consider baking individually wrapped, labeled, nut-free treats for the bake sale. See flyer for a list of items that will be collected and donated to the Ronald McDonald House.
  • Summer Beach Clean-up and BBQ in Michigan – In order to receive information about this fun beach clean-up, become a subscriber! Click here https://fs22.formsite.com/dgforms/form8/index.html and fill out the form.  Hope to see you this summer!!
