Reflections – The PD PTA wanted to share that unfortunately, we will not be participating in the National PTA Reflections Art Contest this year. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the submission deadline has passed and we were unable to participate in a timely fashion. December Dine “Inn” Event – Let’s keep raising some “dough” with our next Dine-“Inn” event.! We have almost made our goal of making $500 for our school – let’s surpass it! Reading Games – We are happy to announce that the District 58 Reading Games will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at O’Neill Middle School. Registration will open soon, so begin to form your teams now! The Reading Games is a free and fun district-wide reading competition for District 58 students in grades 3-8. The program aims to introduce new genres of books to students and to encourage students to enjoy reading. Students form teams of 5-8 children, collaborate to read 12 books, and answer trivia questions. More information about The Reading Games and book lists can be found online at https://www.

A HUGE Thank you from the Service Learning Committee for all the generous contributions PD families made to our holiday stocking stuffer/clothing drive. Because of you we were able to donate nearly 60 stockings filled w/ wonderful toys, games etc., winter coats and clothing and Target gift cards to Sharing Connections. They will be distributing to families in need this month. Thank you so much and Happy Holidays!
