Holiday Wreath Sale – For the first time, PD PTA is offering Holiday Wreaths! Each wreath is handmade of balsam fir in Giles, WI. We are offering two sizes of wreaths, 20” and 26” and they are adorned with a red velvet bow and three pine cones (click here for pictures). These fresh wreaths have a 6-8 week life expectancy. The 20” wreath is $25 and the 26” wreath is $35. Wreaths will be delivered to school the week of Thanksgiving. If you are unable to pick up your wreath, we also offer delivery for $10. DGN Homecoming Parade – The DGN homecoming parade is scheduled for Friday, October 22nd at 3:15pm SHARP. If your family would like to walk in the parade to represent Pierce Downer, please meet at Herrick at 3pm so we can walk together to the Prince Street DGN parking lot to assemble our group for the parade. We ask that families wear DGN colors (purple and white) and bring individually wrapped candy to toss to the parade viewers. All children in grades 3 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult to participate in the parade.
