IMPORTANT- Tonight’s PTA Meeting CANCELLED due to the weather/road conditions. The meeting will be rescheduled to next Tuesday, 1/29, at 2pm in the Pierce Downer LRC. Please note the time change! We will be done with the meeting in time to pick up the kids from school.
STEAM Class – The STEAM committee is proud to offer one last class for winter! TinkRworks is offering their first class at PD – BUILD AND PROGRAM YOUR (RO)BOT on Mondays from 3-4PM in the gym. February 11th-April 22nd.
3rd-6th graders will bring together custom-milled wooden chassis, motors, micro-computers, electronics, 3D-printed parts and other materials to assemble, program and customize robots that they can then bring to life! TinkRers will code motion, tricks, lights and sounds to activate with a push of a button on a remote control. Along the way, they will develop STEAM skills and apply their reasoning and problem-solving skills to solve for many challenges. Click here for the flyer and registration information.
Battle of the Bands – SAVE THE DATES
- The Battle of the Bands Kid Show is April 6th at the Moose from 6:30pm-8:30pm.
- The Battle of the Bands Adult Show is April 27th at Ballydoyle from 7:00pm- 1:00am.

SLC- Feed My Starving Children is a fun, hands-on way to volunteer with your kids. We need 15-17 more volunteers to help pack meals for hungry people around the world.
