Fun Lunch – Second Half of the school year is now open to place orders!! The PTA offers Fun lunch as an opportunity for parents to pre-order food from different vendors that will be delivered to school and distributed by a group of parent volunteers during the regular lunch times.  This is meant to be something fun for the kids, a day that you don’t have to pack lunches and is completely optional!  Please click here to order, whether you are a new or returning Pierce Downer family and make sure to register each of your children that will be participating.  The school password is PDE257. SLC “Minute of Empathy” – This year, the Service Learning Committee is launching a monthly “Minute of Empathy” that ties into our Pierce Downer Value of Being Empathetic.  Through these “minutes”, we are aiming to foster empathy and generate awareness for various causes and needs. The links we share will allow you to sit with your family at dinner, before bed, or while waiting for a carpool ride to show up, and take a minute (or several minutes!) to check out these resources together. The more awareness we have, the more empathetic we can be! Please see attached flyer for more information on November’s Minute of Empathy here.

Thank you to everyone who donated their Halloween candy to Operation Gratitude, because of you 350 pounds (13 boxes full) of candy was sent to our troops.  A HUGE thank you to Kelly Larson, Ziba Irvin and Kelly Henrikson for collecting and boxing all of the candy that was sent.

Please find Meeting Minutes from our November PTA General Board Meeting here.
